Madison Classes - June 2008
Tuesday June 10 at 6pm or Thursday, June 26 at 6pm
In this class you will complete 2 - 12 X 12 lay-outs using a simple
scheme/design. Each month Sue S. will put together simple scheme/design lay-out
showing you how to create pages quickly while still capturing the wow factor. In
addition you’ll receive a recipe card size with a picture of the layout to use
when you create future pages. Get ready to be inspired !
Please bring a trimmer, adhesive and glue dots.

Thursday June 12 at 6pm or Tuesday June 24 at 6pm
In this
class you will complete a mini baby autograph book. Perfect size for guest
to sign at the party or to create a mini memory/advice book. You will also
create a baby card that will hold a gift card. Are you are still
looking for an idea for an invitation or thank you notes? You have come to
the right place, you will create one of each. You will
walk away creating 4 projects in total and be inspired to create more!
Please bring a trimmer, adhesive and glue dots.

Saturday, June 14th from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm
Techniques with Dye Ink $15 Instructor: Mary (formerly
of Stamping Jazzy Style)
June 16th at 6pm
Learn multiple different ways of using your
dye based ink pads including rainbow pads.
You will also be learning techniques that combine your
versamark and
brilliance ink pads with dye inks.
In class you will complete a bound booklet that will includes
a minimum of seven different techniques using both matte and glossy
paper. You will also be
completing a card in addition to the booklet using one of the
technique that you
learn. Please bring adhesive and a paper trimmer.

June 21st at 1pm
In the class you will learn how to use the ranger distressing
products
to
get that popular distressed look in your
scrapbooks and your stamping projects.
We will be learning uses for the distress inks, crackle
paste, distress embossing powders, and mixing in a little of the
paint dabbers. Please
bring adhesive and trimmer.

Most of the time, all materials are provided. That does mean
you’ll have to share with others… customers have been asking us what
would be good to take along to a class and we’ve come up with these
suggestions: a ruler, scissors, exacto–knife and mat, black waterproof
ink, versamark, adhesives such as pop dots, vellum tape and glue stick or tape,
eyelet setter and punch and maybe even a camera to take pictures of samples or
displays.
